The Hutchinson facility in Château-Gontier attains AeroExcellence Bronze status

After obtaining the EN 9100 aerospace certification in 2021, the Château-Gontier plant was evaluated according to the AeroExcellence framework launched by the French Aerospace Industries Association (Gifas).


Hutchinson is proud to announce that its O-Ring production facility in Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne has achieved the Bronze level certification from AeroExcellence, the widely recognized standard for operational excellence within the aerospace and defense industry.


The AeroExcellence evaluation serves as a trusted assurance for partners and customers, confirming that processes comply with the highest aerospace and defense standards for operational excellence, environmental responsibility, and cybersecurity.



The thorough evaluation was conducted from Tuesday, April 22 to Thursday, April 24, 2025, concentrating on areas such as organizational and resource management, planning and logistics, supplier management, industrialization and quality, as well as production excellence.
