India’s indigenous Zorawar light tank has fired an anti-tank guided missile.

Called Nag Mk II, the missile met range and accuracy targets during the successful trial.

The test strengthens domestic design-to-production lines for powerful weapon systems.

The test pairs a sub-25-ton, mountain-optimized tank with a fire-and-forget, long-range strike option for high-altitude combat.

The capability requirement came after Galwan clashes along the Line of Actual Control.

The high-altitude area borders with China and this new weapon system can deliver an edge to India in high-altitude combat.
