General Atomics is integrating Airborne Early Warning and Control capability onto its MQ-9B SkyGuardian, SeaGuardian drone. The integration will make drones more versatile for various missions, including maritime patrol and reconnaissance.
The capability will be developed in partnership with Saab. General Atomics expects the first MQ-9B drone with new capabilities to be flown in 2026.
