Britain has delivered laser-guided air defense missiles to Ukraine six months ahead of schedule.
Developed by Thales, the Martlet Lightweight Multirole Missiles can shoot down drones, helicopters, and low-flying aircraft.
The weapon is an advanced solution for air defense, delivering precision, versatility and effectiveness against diverse threats in challenging environments.
Equipped with a triple effect warhead and proximity fuse, the weapon provides a response to various threats including light armored, wheeled and tracked vehicles or aerial platforms.
With this early delivery, Ukraine has over hundreds of new, short-range air defense weapons.
