Agile Robots has officially launched its first industrial humanoid robot,
Named Agile ONE, the robot is designed to work safely and efficiently alongside humans and other robotic systems in factory settings.
The innovation is built for a variety of tasks such as material gathering and transport, pick-and-place operations, machine tending, tool use, and precise manipulation.
Agile ONE integrates an intuitive human-robot interaction design with what the company says is the world’s most dexterous robotic hand.
Its hands feature fingertip and force-torque sensors in every joint, giving it exceptional precision and adaptability.
The robot’s intelligence comes from a layered AI architecture: one layer handles strategic reasoning and task planning, another enables rapid reaction, and a third controls fine motor movements.
This AI model has been trained not only on simulated and human-collected data, but also on large real-world industrial datasets — which helps Agile ONE deal with real factory environments.
For interaction, it has expressive “eyes,” proximity sensors, and a chest display to communicate status, making it safer and more intuitive for humans to work with.
Agile ONE is part of Agile Robots’ broader ecosystem of robotic solutions, including their Agile Hand, force-sensitive FR3 arm, Diana 7 arm, the Thor series, as well as autonomous mobile robots and automated guided vehicles.
